A private home for your family's memories
Your family tree, photos, stories, and the things only the elders know, like where the will is kept. Private to the people you invite, on an address your family owns.

The photographs are on six different phones. The oldest ones are in an album at your mother's house that nobody has opened in years. The rest are somewhere in a WhatsApp group, buried under three hundred forwarded messages by Friday.
So when someone asks for a photo of your grandfather as a young man, everybody looks at each other. Somebody had it. Nobody can find it. And the story that went with it, the one only your aunt could tell properly, was never written down at all.
It is not that families do not care. It is that the places we keep photographs were never built to keep them. A phone is built to be replaced. A group chat is built to scroll away. A shared drive belongs to whoever set it up, until they change jobs.
From the first photograph to the family tree, the stories and the private records, in one short video.
Or open the demo album and try every part of it yourself. Nothing you do there is kept.
You do not need to be technical, and you do not need every photograph ready on day one.
Pick the name your album lives at, like thebahatis.ke. It is registered in your family's name and it is yours for as long as you keep it.
Upload from a phone or a computer, the same way you already do. Sort them by event, by year, or by who is in them, whenever you feel like it.
Send an invitation by email and choose what each person can do. Some can add photos, some can only look. Signing in is a link or a code, so nobody needs a password.
Four generations on one page. Record how everyone is related, and tap a person to see every photograph they are in.
Every photograph, sorted by event, by year, by who is in them and by where it was taken. A plan holds about 2,000 to 3,000 of them.
Write down what a photograph does not show. Where it was taken, who was laughing, and why it mattered.
A dignified place to remember someone, written by the whole family together rather than left to one person.
Where the will is kept, who the executor is, the land and the accounts. Private to the owner and the people they choose.
What runs in the family, so the next generation and their doctors know what to watch for. Private too.
A grandparent telling a story in their own voice. Kept on YouTube, free and unlisted, and playing inside your album.
Every request is checked against the list of people you invited. Albums are never public and never indexed by search engines, except the public demo.
Install your album like an app on a phone or a computer. Nothing to download from an app store.
Phones are stolen. Laptops die. Prints fade in Nairobi humidity faster than anyone expects.
The harder loss is quieter. Every year, the people who can name everyone in the old photographs get a little older, and one day the names go with them. You are not just storing pictures. You are recording who these people were while somebody still remembers.
That is the part nobody gets a second chance at.
Once a year, or by the month. One yearly payment covers your album, your address, hosting and storage for twelve months, with no setup fee. Paying monthly means a setup fee and then one payment each month. See pricing for the current figures.
No. Signing in is a link or a code sent to your email, so there is no password to remember. Adding a photograph works the way it does on your phone. If you would rather somebody else set the whole thing up, our Done For You plan means we build it with you.
Only the people you invite. Every single request is checked against that list. Your album is never public, never indexed by Google (except the public demo), and never shared with another family. We look inside an album only when you ask us to for support, or when the law, or a report of unlawful content, makes us.
Your album is not deleted the next morning. We email you before your renewal date. A month after it (a week, if you pay monthly) the album goes private and we hold it for a year, then write one last time before it is deleted. If you decide not to continue, get in touch and we will help you download everything at full quality first. The photographs are yours.
Your album comes with its own .ke or .co.ke name, registered for you and yours for as long as you keep it. If your family already owns a domain, we can point that at your album instead.
As many as you like, at no extra charge. You decide what each person may do: some can add photographs and write stories, others can only look.
Start with the ones that matter most rather than trying to do everything at once. Photographing prints with a phone works better than people expect, and our guides cover how to get a good result.
Start with ten photographs this afternoon. Add the rest when you can. The album is live the moment your payment clears.
